A Penn State University sociology professor told his students that they should watch gay pornography during a discussion on gender issues. He suggested that his straight students will become aroused at the videos and question their sexuality.

“If you’re straight, watch gay or lesbian porn and see how quickly you feel aroused. And how you can’t control that. You’ll realize that, ‘Oh, d—, I could be sexualized by people who are like me.’”

“We are all at some level nonbinary,” Professor Sam Richards continued. “We’re all, very much, easily bisexual.”

The class, labeled SOC 119, “Race and Ethnic Relations,” is a popular elective, Penn State reportedly told Fox News. The university said that Richards’ class discusses topics from a “spectrum of opinions,” including those that are liberal and conservative. The discussions allegedly “challenge beliefs and encourage students to explore uncomfortable and complex topics.”

The school also stated that “academic freedom for faculty” promoted “critical thinking and discussion. ”

The day’s topic was reportedly “A Conversation on Trans Issues, TERFS, and The Binary,” according to Fox News. TERF is the abbreviation for “trans-exclusionary radical feminist.” The professor uploads his classes to the SOC 119 YouTube channel.

The class was reportedly silent in response.

“I might have hit a nerve there. Did I hit a nerve?” the professor asked.

Richards continued to probe and reiterated that when students watch gay or lesbian porn they might discover that they are aroused and might be bisexual.

“Watch gay porn. See if you feel that feeling. If you feel that feeling, look in a mirror, and say huh, maybe I’m just feeling some things that I’m just afraid to release. And maybe you release that and maybe you’d be surprised that maybe you actually are fine being more bisexual.”

That same class also featured a story shared by Richards about a transgender student. He then proceeded to give the female students in the classroom advice about how to urinate while standing up.

“Women, you should know this by the way, the little trick, you can have a little piece of leather and fold it up and use that to go in the urinal or go outside.”
