Leftism & White Supremacy: Different Versions of the Same Game

black supremacists

Today, in a report from Gateway Pundit, “Black activists from the New Black Panther Party and other groups staged an armed march in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Organizers held a Second Amendment “March for Reparations” and marched through downtown Tulsa.”

“The struggle for Reparations must be escalated,” a news release from organizers read.

“Another supremacist threatened white people and said, “Because that time will come when there’s a rat-a-tat-tat… black Americans will kill everything white in sight.”

Meanwhile, the FBI is busy hunting down grandmas who aimlessly wandered through the Capitol on January 6.”

The groups that participated:

  • The Huey P Newton Gun Club (HPNGC)
  • The Elmer Geronimo Pratt Gun Club (EGPGC)
  • The New Black Panther Party for Self- Defense (NBPP)
  • The Fred Hampton Gun Club (FHGC)
  • The New Black Liberation Militia (NBLM)
  • The Panther Special Operations Command (PANSOC)
  • ANUBIS
  • Multiple other groups and private gun owners

I’ve been in a couple conversations today on the rise of white nationalism as a response to the Left’s increased racialism. First, I came across an Instagram post that referred to “Nicholas Joseph Fuentes” as “an American political commentator and podcaster. The media portrays him as a white nationalist, but if you actually listen to him he’s a huge Trump supporter and he talks about how the government and both parties are playing all of us against each other.”

What isn’t mentioned, however, is that Nick Fuentes is, admittedly, a white nationalist. The problem with leftist media constantly labelling their political enemies as ‘white nationalists’ is that the term loses its meaning, it becomes cheapened, and eventually people stop listening. When anyone and everyone on the right are considered such, along with their ideas, values, and beliefs, then the lines between them and racialists are indistinguishable from association. And, as if knowing this creates an opportunity, the white nationalists come out. But the reason they come out is twofold: on the one hand, it’s opportunistic; on the other, they’re forced out and even produced by the racialism of the Left.

The black supremacist event above showcases one example of the Left’s tribalism. As listed, many groups formed together to march for reparations, demanding whites pay them for ‘systemic racism.’ If whites don’t, black supremacists will kill everyone white— in their words. In a tweet, Elijah Schaffer wrote:

How true is this?

Since the 1960s, Yale University has, without due merit or qualification, admitted black students solely on the basis of their race in an attempt to appear inclusive; however, in 2019, the National Association of Scholars released their recent project entitled ‘Separate but Equal, Again’  focusing on the growth of neo-segregation across 173 American colleges and universities. Their report on Yale specifically showed how admitting unqualified students and conceding to black separatists, have jointly fostered hostile environments that have led to neo-segregation between students of different races.

Critical Race Theory has also become pervasively taught in colleges and elementary schools alike. In one instance, this January, at R.I. Meyerholz Elementary School, third graders were asked to rank themselves according to their “power and privilege.” The math class conducted a lesson on deconstructing students’ “racial identities.”

“The teacher asked all students to create an “identity map,” listing their race, class, gender, religion, family structure, and other characteristics. The teacher explained that the students live in a “dominant culture” of “white, middle class, cisgender, educated, able-bodied, Christian, English speaker[s],” who, according to the lesson, “created and maintained” this culture in order “to hold power and stay in power.””

It’s still unclear what this has to do with mathematics.

Films and television shows are made and casted to be more ‘inclusive’. This means making a black woman Queen Anne Boleyn, one of the palest women queens of England. Leftists would say that ‘this shouldn’t matter’, except that leftists have been decrying that racial identity matters very much as it shapes ones experiences. I suppose such experiences only extend to minorities in an effort to be ‘racially just’. But when America’s identity is constantly weaponized to imply race, rather than equal individuals under God, nation, and law, then the same sin of erasure of blacks that whites are accused of are likewise hurled at a society that seeks to erase whites.

In the summer of 2020, The National Museum of African American History published an infographic designed to make certain ‘aspects’ of whiteness known:

The National Museum of African American History & Culture wants to make you aware of certain signs of whiteness: Individualism, hard work, objectivity, the nuclear family, progress, respect for authority, delayed gratification, & more.

On his show, Michael Knowles, played a clip from Black News Tonight, where host Marc Lamont Hill asks anti-Critical Race Theory advocate Christopher Rufo, what he likes about being white. Rufo denied answering, appealing to metaphysical responses on how he doesn’t see either color.

But, as Knowles points out, Lamont Hill makes a good point. Hill says, “if you ask me what are some things I like about being black I can talk about cultural norms, I could talk about tradition, I could talk about the commonalities around the diaspora; particularly if you’re saying that whiteness is a thing that is being constructed as negative and shouldn’t be, name something positive that you like about being white.”

Rufo’s bewilderment raises an intriguing point: You aren’t allowed to say what’s good about being white. “If you’re allowed to say it about every other race,” Knowles says, “I guess you should be allowed to say it about being white. If I had to answer the question what would I say? A lower risk of sickle cell anemia. Are we not allowed to say that? Beyond that… some history. One does take pride in history. One does take some satisfaction in the history of one’s community. Marc alludes to this himself. I like sock-less loafers. Is that part of white culture? Yeah, I guess. I like the stiff upper lip. In English culture… and this is not true of all white cultures, I guess you’d have to get a little more specific— the Italians are not exactly known for the stiff upper lip, they’re a little more emotive— but the Brits are known for this. They don’t make a big show of their emotions all the time. They’re not always whining and screaming unless they’re Prince Harry.”

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has recently come out to say that she’s only accepting interviews from ‘black and brown journalists.’ She’s now being sued.

In college campuses across the country students are taught that Western Civilization is not correctly termed a ‘civilization’ as that would implicitly condone its ‘imperialism’ and ‘settler colonialism.’ As a student of sociology, many times it was clarified that ‘civilization’ was a problematic term, better replaced with ‘society.’ The Western world was and still is innately evil: from ending slavery, to advancing equality for all sexes, religions, and races, to creating the wealthiest of nations lifting many from poverty, and thus creating the most technologically progressive society, and the most privileged generation of ungrateful sods America has to offer— nevertheless, Western Civilization is demeaned as a toxic, racially imperialist, oppressive, anti-black, slave-owning, systematically irredeemable, white-washed, coon-filled hellscape that must be eradicated and uprooted for something ‘truly good’ and ‘communistic’ to flourish.

Examples of this thinking, atomistic and institutional abound everywhere that a more definitive book can be written on its own. Many have. The few examples listed above have not begun to exhaust the reservoir of cases that point to the mental shift from the ideals of meritocracy and color-blindness to racialist lens now consciously and wholeheartedly predominating the American psyche. Identity politics, where ones race is thoughtfully placed at the center of being, not only predominates the American universities and schools, workplaces, and social engagements, but is actively encouraged in every facet of our consciousness.

In an era where the color of ones skin is more important than the content of ones character, those who are woke attribute any ideological dissidence to racism and white supremacy. In the infographic posted above, the irony is lost on leftists that it bears semblance to what a white supremacist also believes: that yes, these aspects of our culture are white; that whites are privileged and are the defining feature of the American nation of which minorities and non-whites threaten. This similarity in thinking between leftists and white supremacists are mutually reinforcing and achieve the same ends: racial division, separatism, resentment.

Leftists create the conditions for white nationalists and supremacists. As leftists preach the subjugation of whites (academically silencing their voices, relegating them to the back, teaching them that they are predisposed to racism by birth by dint of their color, that any disagreement proves their racism, that refusal to bow a knee is oppression) the threat that staying silent poses, in light of racial discrimination, further emboldens the racialism that will likewise be the cause of America’s demise.

The Left has manipulated the framework and language to both see and discuss issues to center solely around identity, so that when they encounter a white nationalist that plays the very same game they do, they take that as proof that all of their dissidents are racists. These accusations are projections of their own racist inclinations and treatment of minorities, as though they were incapable of being treated equally, individually, and with merit. These accusations underlie assumptions that shut down any conversation, thus increasing hostilities between groups that all perceive threats, real and fictitious.

Identity politics being the sole framework for ones outlook is not being “critical.” It’s cynical, racialist, and racist.
