The World Economic Forum (WEF) is having its annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland. The forum is composed of many economically inclined individuals, and this meeting will host at least 50 heads of state, 200 assorted top government officials, and 1,500 business leaders from 130 countries. This year’s conversation theme is “Cooperation in a fragmented world,” and is about new solutions to be put in place with the end of the COVID pandemic.
The WEF meeting has been consistently given a media spotlight the last few years, and the attention is a polarized mix of positivity and negativity. The WEF claims that it’s a force for the benefit of globalization on its website and social media channels. They promote cooperation between economies around the world. However, there have been some disturbing patterns associated with the group.
In 2017, a bit more than two years before the first signs of the pandemic in late 2019, the WEF warned of a pandemic coming “sooner than we expect,” according to The Washington Post. The World Bank, an organization with ties to the WEF, started simulating pandemics a year earlier, as they boasted on their website.
In 2019, the WEF held a panel discussing a future biological threat, titled “Disease X: Confronting a New Era of Biological Threats.” This panel was posted to YouTube with a list of attending individuals. The closing remarks for the presentation were by Wang Chen, the President of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

The WEF’s prediction was uncanny, as less than a year later, the COVID-19 virus was first officially detected, with reports suggesting the virus was leaked from a Chinese lab.
Now, the WEF is predicting a new disaster, leaving many onlookers concerned. On January 18th, a panel at the 2023 WEF summit presented information that “…a catastrophic cyber-event [is] likely in the next two years,” according to their experts.
Investigative reporter Drew Hernandez posted a video of the discussion to Twitter.
The presentation led to online investigators digging up more WEF references to a predicted cyber-attack, and an overwhelming amount of content was found. In 2020, Klaus Schwab, the founder and chairman of the WEF warned of a “comprehensive cyber attack, which would bring a complete halt to the power supply, transportation, hospital services, our society as a whole.”
A YouTube video posted by the WEF entitled, “A cyber-attack with COVID-like characteristics?” was at some point unlisted from YouTube search, and can no longer be found without a direct link to the video. The animated short film warns, yet again, of a crippling cyber-attack.
In another clip of Klaus Schwab discussing the organization’s “Global Collaboration Village,” of which Interpol is now a part, Elon Musk replied that the “WEF is increasingly becoming an unelected world government that the people never asked for and don’t want.”
