Staten Island artist Scott LoBaido covered the sidewalk outside New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office with red paint symbolizing blood as a form of protest on Tuesday.

Littered around the paint were fliers with Braggs’ hands covered in blood reading: “Hey Joe Biden, Governor Hochul, Mayor (DeBlasio) Adams, Stop with Your ‘Hearts and Prayers’ BULLS##T!!! GET THESE WOKE F##CKING DISTRICT ATTORNEY MURDERERS OUT OF OFFICE!!!”

(Be advised of explicit language).

The scene was set up with a pink coat representing the coat worn by the 11 month old baby, Catherine Ortiz, who was shot in the Bronx on Jan. 19; shoes worn by the woman who was pushed in front of a train; and a police cap of Officer Rivera who was shot in the face.

“Criminals run the f**king streets because of district attorneys like Alvin Bragg,” LoBaido said as he poured the red paint over the items.

Scott LoBaido tweeted that he was arrested. However, a spokesperson for the New York Police Department told Fox News that “they were not aware of the incident” and “no arrest was made in connection with the incident.” LoBaido was reportedly detained and issued a cease summons, according to Fox News.

LoBaido’s protest comes at a time when major crime is on the rise, according to data released by the NYPD. In the past 28 days, overall crime is up 35 per cent.
