Left-wing billionaire George Soros and his Open Society Foundation has donated over $100 million toward pro-amnesty and pro-immigration organizations, according to a report from Breitbart. The foundation has funneled money into numerous left-wing causes, including organizations that advocate for more illegal immigration amid skyrocketing numbers of immigrants pouring into the country as a result of the Biden administration’s open border policies.
Press Secretary of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) Ron Kovach told Breitbart News the role that Soros has played in backing these organizations, saying that the billionaire and “his shadow organizations have worked hand in hand with the Biden administration since Biden took office to not only shield, but encourage more illegal aliens to flock to the United States.”
“Soros has had a hand in almost every move the Biden administration has made to topple our immigration system,” Kovach said, citing efforts to “secure visas for those already illegally in the country through misinterpretations of Trump’s VOICE initiative, to assisting those attempting to avoid deportations [and] suing Gov. DeSantis for his Martha’s Vineyard flight.”
“What’s worse is that most of his initiatives have had funding assistance through grants awarded by the Biden administration,” Kovach added.

FAIR seeks to reduce overall immigration to a more normal level. Reducing legal immigration levels from well over one million at present to a very generous 300,000 a year over a sustained period will allow America to manage growth, address environmental concerns, and maintain a high quality of life.
FAIR puts the interests of American citizens and future generations ahead of big business and partisan demands.
FAIR is referred to as a “hate group” by Media Matters, a progressive watchdog group funded by the Open Society Foundation. Media Matters is also funded by the Ford Foundation, receiving nearly $4.2 million. The foundation itself has spent over $100 million advocating amnesty and mass immigration, according to a report from Breitbart.
Open Society Foundation has also contributed to other pro-amnesty, pro-immigration groups such as New Virginia Majority, which seeks to build “a bloc of conscious, consistent voters to advance a new politics that is democratic, sustainable and just.” They have reportedly received $100,000 from Soros’ foundation.
Other organizations that have received hundred of thousands to millions in funding from OSF include, National Immigration Law Center, Immigrant Legal Resource Center, Black Alliance for Just Immigration, National Immigration Forum, Unidos US Action Fund, America’s Voice, United We Dream.

Alianza Americas, a non-profit organization also funded by Soros, is now suing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for recently busing migrants to the wealthy island located in Dukes County, Massachusetts.
In a recent public report, the Open Society Foundation has spent over $18 billion on left-wing causes, according to expenditures listed on their website. The foundation reportedly donated most toward “Democratic Practice and Economic Equity and Justice” in 2020.
A Yale University study conducted from 2018 estimated that there are roughly 16 million to 29 million illegal immigrants within the United States. 38% of Americans would like to see immigration decreased, according to an August 2022 Gallup poll.
The foreign born population in the U.S., which includes both legal and illegal immigrants, will exceed 47 million residents as of April 2022, American Pigeon previously reported. Over 1 million illegal immigrants have settled in the U.S. since the start of Biden’s presidency as of June 2022. Illegal immigrants also reportedly make up two-thirds of foreign born population growth.
The Biden administration allegedly made it a priority tackle a broken immigration system by initially issuing a 100-day moratorium on deportation during the president’s first day in office, despite threats to national security, border security and public safety. Fixing the broken system included the administration ending the Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy, where illegal immigrants were required to await court proceedings in Mexico, not released into the interior of the United States and expected to show up for court.
